What happens when my Spoken Premium trial runs out?

When you download the Spoken app, we give you a free trial to explore its premium features - including custom voices, the ability to save and reuse phrases, and personalized predictions.

After your premium trial ends, you will still be able to use the Spoken app, but will need to subscribe in order to continue using its premium features.

This chart gives an overview of the features available in the base version of Spoken versus Spoken Premium.

Features that are identified as being available in the free, base version of Spoken include the following: Powerful next-word prediction engine enables constructing and speaking phrases with ease. Speak an unlimited number of words and phrases. Attention button allows you to notify others that you are about to say something. Show large lets the listener see what you are saying in large font. Share a phrase via text, email, or another app as audio or text. Block words you don’t want to appear in the list of predictions. Receive context-dependent word predictions based on your location or current activity. Use large print and dark mode. All features available in base Spoken are also identified as being available with Premium. However, the following features are identified as being exclusive to Spoken Premium: Receive advanced next word suggestions that learn from the way you talk. Save important or commonly used phrases to have on tap for later. Access intelligent writing and drawing canvases that can recognize your inputs and convert them into speech. Use a large selection of lifelike voices and customize their speed and pitch to match your preference. Take the personalized predictions quiz to receive word suggestions about friends, family, pets, and your favorite locations. Add custom vocabulary to your list of predictions.
